Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Prosthetic Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The Prosthetic Dental Technician will be responsible for fabricating and repairing dental prosthetic devices, including dentures, fixed implant retained dentures (All-on-four) and other dental appliances. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and fabrication techniques to ensure the production of high-quality dental prosthetics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•  Interpret dental prescriptions and specifications provided by dentists to create accurate and precise dental prosthetics.
•  Utilize dental impressions, models, to fabricate dentures, and other prosthetic devices.
•  Perform repairs and modifications to damaged or worn dental prosthetics.
•  Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
•  Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
•  Knowledge of dental laboratory health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
•  Effective communication skills to collaborate with dentists and dental technicians.
•  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Person Specification

•  Excellent Attention to detail
•  Experience with working as part of a team
•  Experience in prosthetic full mouth implant rehabilitation would be an advantage, however willing to develop the right candidate.
