Role Overview

As Medical Copywriter, you will work within a dynamic team small enough to take full autonomy yet large enough to work on internationally significant projects. Developing and delivering high level medical copywriting services across IGNIFI's range of clients. You will be expected to craft compelling educational, informative and promotional content that is attractive, persuasive and scientifically/technically accurate for a range of audiences, communications objectives and media.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
" Adding insight and value to client briefings/meetings. Making time to research, consider & prepare to be seen as 'the expert in the room'.
" Developing a deep understanding of client data, products and therapy areas, convert/adapt into key messages and insightful, accurate copy that resonate with a range of different audiences (healthcare professionals and consumer).
" Support the development of content for new business development opportunities, playing an active role (with others) in the conversion of new clients at pitch/RFP stage.
" Develop creative and technical content across a varied portfolio, creating copy across multiple channels, including adverts, e-detailers, detail aids, leave pieces, brochures, conference materials, direct mail, emailers, websites, apps, training materials.
" Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and service to encourage client retention.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have relevant experience including:
" Education to degree standard in a medical/life sciences discipline
" Healthcare/life sciences industry or agency knowledge and experience
" At least 3 years demonstrable writing experience
" High level ability to craft compelling and insightful technical content across a range of topics, lengths, formats and audiences
" Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, deadlines and estimating of time required
" A positive, pro-active attitude and ability to work well as part of a growing team
" A strong awareness and aptitude for marketing
" High standard of oral and written English and excellent communication skills
" Good financial/commercial awareness
" Computer literacy with main MS Office software
