Dechra hails success of woundcare CPD session

Animal Health Supplier News

Dechra Veterinary Products has delivered a positive report on the continuous professional development (CPD) session on animal woundcare it recently sponsored in Lisburn.

The event - held at the Veterinary Surgeons Supply Company in April and organised in conjunction with the British Veterinary Nursing Association - saw the company provide information and demonstrations on healing products such as Celox Veterinary and Advancis.

Georgie Hollis of the Veterinary Wound Healing Association was the speaker at the session, during which she detailed the wound healing process and the use of various dressings and hydrogels.

Dechra stated that the nursing staff present were enthusiastic and keen to learn about the innovative treatment techniques that were discussed.

Rachel Horton, Dechra's brand manager for woundcare, said: "We were delighted to support this CPD event, with advanced woundcare and management one of Dechra Veterinary Products' key areas of expertise."

This comes after the company announced the completion of its takeover of Eurovet Animal Health earlier this month.
