InMind Healthcare Group has stated that its new Waterloo Manor hospital will assist the Yorkshire and Humber Specialist Commissioning Group in piloting a Shared Pathway Programme.
Part of the National Secure Mental Health QIPP Programme, the scheme aims to create an outcome and recovery-focused pathway for service users in secure care, helping to empower patients and improve their overall experience.
The announcement comes as the new purpose-built hospital nears completion, with the site set to offer accommodation for 33 women with complex mental health needs in a low secure setting, separated into three fully independent units.
Work will be completed later this year, with InMind's existing building in the area set to be redeveloped into step-down rehabilitation facilities for 22 patients.
Mark Quarmby, hospital director at Waterloo Manor, said: "Both staff and service users are all very excited to see the new building in its final stages of completion."
The company has also been conducting extensive refurbishments at its Battersea Bridge House location over the course of the last 18 months.See all the latest jobs in Pharmaceutical
