Advanced Medical Solutions has highlighted new data from a pair of clinical studies that showcase the benefits of its silver alginate woundcare products.

Data from the studies has been published in the International Wound Journal and the Journal of Woundcare, showing the antimicrobial efficacy of one of its commercialised silver alginate dressings in killing 160 chronic and burn wound microorganisms.

This includes 29 strains of the superbug MRSA, which is recognised as one of the most difficult infections to treat.
