Dionex to distribute Merck Millipore water purification system

Scientific Company News

Dionex has agreed a deal with Merck Millipore for global distribution of the ICW-3000 ion chromatography (IC) water purification system.

Under the terms of the agreement, Dionex will be able to sell the device - which was designed specifically as an ultrapure water source for Dionex Reagent-Free IC systems - directly to its global clients.

ICW-3000 plays a key role in the functioning of Dionex's systems by providing a continual flow of ultrapure water to the eluent generator, eliminating the risk of contamination and ensuring the sensitivity and reproducibility of experiments.

In addition, it has been optimised to be easy to install and configure with Dionex IC units.

Bernard Sheldon, IC system product manager at Dionex, said: "With no worries about eluent contamination and with total integration of the water purifier to the IC system, this is truly set-and-forget chromatography."

Earlier this year, Dionex confirmed that it is now offering ultra-high performance liquid chromatography compatibility across its entire range of range of basic automated and standard HPLC modules.
