Arjo equipment used at Staffordshire residential home

Medical Company Product News

Arjo, provider of medical care products, has announced that a residential home in Staffordshire has been using its equipment for two years and is happy with the its purchases.

The Croft, which also has an establishment within its grounds that provides care for people with learning and physical disabilities, is currently making use of Arjo's Maxi Sky 600 - a ceiling lifting system which manages resident transfers.

Malibu bath - a variable height bathing system with detachable powered transfer seat - and the Arjo multi-purpose hygiene chair Carendo, are also used by the residential care home.

The company reported that, after ordering these facilities, the establishment has been awarded a three-star rating from the Commission for Social Care Inspection - increasing the standard of care it provides from 'good' to 'excellent'.

Other contracts Arjo has won in the past include that which saw it fit out Our Lady's RC High School with its equipment, as part of the £25 million Higher Blackley Education Village in Manchester.
