My client are Global Pharmaceutical companywith 1000 employees globally that specialise in ADHD medicine, Healthcare products to pharmacies and Nephrology.

Their products are in over 50 countries through partners, but theyve been setting up subsidiaries including Australia, holland, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden and now the UK.

They set up in the UK in Feb 2022, built their ADHD team and are looking to launch 3 Nephrology products in the next 18 months in the UK market.


Role Overview

My Client have partnered with a US company and are launching a new product to treat Anaemia caused by chronic kidney disease (a non-injectable product) at the end of 2023.

Reporting into the Country Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a successful pre-launch, launch and ongoing growth plan for the release of a new chemical entity in the field of Nephrology/Anaemia. There are 2 additional launches planned in the next 18 months (products that are in the market across their other subsidiaries) in the Nephrology space, which this person will be looking after, being the main point of contact for Nephrology medication in the UK.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Point of contact for Nephrology medication in the UK ( full responsibility and accountability of brand in the UK)
- EU interactions, UK arm is vital part of global movement, first to market, work on european strategy
- work with current suppliers HTAs, NICE, SMC
- Team build - shape a marketing function / sales / med affairs with dotted lines etc.
- Develop Marketing resources for UK / EU


Person Specification

- Senior Brand Manager looking to step up / an exisiting Manager / Brand lead
- Nephrology background / understands the dialysis / epos market
- Black book of contacts / has relationships with candidates in the sector / knows the innovators
- Passion, get up and go / Someone that is hands on
