Role Overview

Your role will be to:
- Support my clients ambitious growth plans by developing our Engagement and Marketing strategy.
- You will lead a small in-house marketing team
- Liaise with other colleagues/marketing agency/other stakeholders to drive our brand engagement and strengthen my clients presence within relevant academic and commercial markets.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

You will:
- Represent the company at a range of networking events - online and in person throughout the UK and overseas
- Develop our internal communications to ensure the regular sharing of achievements, good practise and other company updates
- Identify and introduce new clients, suppliers, products or markets to the appropriate team and support the development of existing business relationships.
- Organise the company spotlight and training update programme to enhance knowledge and outputs across the company
- Rapidly develop the sector knowledge
- Work with Directors and SLT to review management of Company and achieve the goals outlined in the Company Development Plan


Person Specification

General requirements and background needed:
- Experience in using a range of communication and engagement methods to build, and deepen client relationships within science and technology sectors
- Previous marketing experience, preferably gained within the B2B scientific research or technology domains, with proven ability to identify, and develop new business relationships

Science and Technology Sector knowledge:
- Ideally have a good knowledge of innovation taking place within material and physical science and engineering
- Experience of working with Academic Institutions, R & D Companies, and manufacturers.
