A prestigious Medical Device Manufacturer have an opening for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the North East of England and Scotland and some surrounding postcodes. The company is at the forefront of decontamination technologies within Medical, Dental, Veterinary, Podiatry, Tattoo, Lab and Beauty markets.

Working hours : Mon -Thurs 8:30 - 17:00 & Fri 8:30 - 16:30 (flexibility)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Routine maintenance and repair of products in line with company procedures
Maintaining vehicle stock levels to enable effective and efficient servicing of equipment and provide feedback to service management with regards to inefficiencies relating to stock issues
Providing accurate diagnosis and reporting on a job to job basis via a live based electronic service management software package (CRM), feeding back all required information
Identifying and forwarding sales opportunities to internal sales teams on a continuing basis in line with company procedures

Person Specification

Electromechanical engineering experience for at least 3 years'
Engineering qualification ideal
Ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues on all levels
Demonstrate a very good understanding of the business needs attached to after sales service
Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility to ensure the company delivers its commitments
Good work ethic and willingness to learn
