Role Overview

The Medical Sales Consultant will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.
Key responsibilities include identifying and meeting customer needs within the allotted sales territory, maintaining good after-sales relationships, keeping records of customer appointments and completed sales, providing detailed information on the products they are selling. It is also important to regularly update their product knowledge, as well as hone and develop selling techniques
Sales Consultants are the link between companies and clients, promoting products and services and building long-term commercial relationships. Providing sales and growth to the business and increasing market penetration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•  Communicating with customers, at all levels.
•  Generating new leads
•  Attend sales meetings, conferences and events
•  Process customer orders
•  Work with the team to develop and deliver new sales or marketing strategies
•  Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
•  Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers using CRM.
•  Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
•  Upselling products and services.
•  Researching and qualifying new leads.
•  Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
•  Required to attend customer face to face meetings, as and when necessary.
•  Margin Growth

Person Specification

Qualifications:
•  Experience within the Medical sector mandatory
•  Previous experience in a customer facing sales role essential.
•  Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
•  Excellent phone skills.
