What were you looking for when you were seeking a new role? 

"I was looking for something new – I knew that I wanted a role within the life sciences, but not a traditional role in scientific research or production. I had actually applied for a different job through Zenopa but this role was also suggested to me – it also aligned with my wants and objectives better!"

What benefits have you had since securing your role?

"Since obtaining this position, I have managed to save enough money to purchase a flat with my partner. It has also allowed me to further refine my career goals and ambitions, and I am now on a very different route than I first anticipated!"

How did you find the recruitment process?

"Nick at Zenopa was very helpful – I was discussing another opportunity with him when he presented this one, and he arranged the initial application. With both opportunities, he gave great advice for the interviews (offering likely questions and giving feedback on my answers). I would not have been anywhere near as prepared without his knowledge of the company from communicating with the employer."

How has your work/life balance improved?

"I would say that it has given me an opportunity to understand what I want from my career, and that has guided my next steps. Also having the chance to become more financially secure and being able to obtain a mortgage has definitely improved my work/life relationship."
