Having travelled around for a while Jennifer was ready to settle in one place and look for a more permanent role. Our Healthcare Communications team set to work and found her a role that fitted with her requirements. We caught up with Jennifer to see how she was getting on... 

What were you looking for when you were seeking a new role?

"I was looking to move from academic research into another more permanent role."

What benefits have you had since securing your role?

"I’ve been able to start thinking about settling in one place permanently and start saving to do so. The new role has also given me much more confidence than my previous position did."

How did you find the recruitment process?

"It was very straightforward. The team even suggested a job which I would not even have thought to look at, which is the role I ultimately ended up in. So I’m very happy that they were able to see and offer up an opportunity which I would not have found alone."

How has your work/life balance improved?

"There has definitely been an improvement in my work/life balance. I’m glad to have been able to make the jump from academia into a role which still allows me the chance to explore and work within different areas of science but without the pressure and unsociable aspects of research."
