Previous job - Territory Manager

TERRITORY: South East (All London/bucks/herts/beds/cambs/Essex/kent and Suffolk/Norfolk)

PRODUCTS: Transfoam, Transoft, Transflo, Transair - pressure relieving support surfaces including mattress systems and seating, beds

CLIENTS: Tissue Viability Nurses, Procurement Managers, Ward Managers, Infection Control Nurses, Community Nurse Managers

Based at home, you will travel extensively across the North Territory (and to other Company premises as necessary).

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining and increasing existing sales in order to achieve sales targets and business requirements, such as weekly call and daily appointment rates. You will plan your sales activity geographically, and by customer, grade, frequency and product, using current customer information and your own knowledge / experience and research of your territory.

You will build and maintain contacts with a range of customers including: Tissue Viability Nurses, Procurement Managers, Ward Managers, Infection Control Nurses, Community Nurse Managers, Modern Matrons, ICES Managers and Wheelchair Services.

Paquete Trabajo

Commission circa £10K.
After successful completion of 6 months probationary period, BUPA cover for self and dependents and also eligible for Karomed pension scheme.
Fully expensed company car
Lap Top plus mobile phone.

Perfil Personal

Ideally sales experience in medical products and a nursing qualification. Must be determined, enthusiastic and tenacious with the ability to build long term relationships.
Ideally you will have proven experience of selling to hospitals and other medical services. You will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
A positive, self-motivated and competitive approach to developing new business and increasing current sales
The ability to communicate and empathise persuasively - capable of influencing others assertively and engendering trust/rapport with customers
Self-disciplined with excellent planning/time management skills, and flexible in order to achieve results
Demonstrably self-confident, decisive, and resilient, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage a number of priorities
Knowledge of Sales/Marketing techniques, research and analysis
Experience in managing a territory worth in excess of £1 million would be highly beneficial, as would previous experience of selling pressure care products
